Job Title: Part‑Time Specialist III, Student Resource Center (Temporary) Location: LSC‑North Harris Employment: Part‑Time, Temporary (Job ID: 44597) Job Purpose The PT Specialist III – Student Resource Center provides support to admissions and records functions, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring compliance for various institutional requirements. Essential Job Functions Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and students. Assist with event and donation drive planning, execution, and budgeting. Maintain and process records, inventory, and documents. Conduct guided tours of the Student Resource Center. Support supervision of college work‑study employees. Assist daily operations and expectations of the Student Resource Center, including the food pantry, professional clothing, school supplies, toiletries, METRO Q Fare cards, etc. Create marketing requests and promote events within the Student Resource Center. Act as courier to pick up items needed for events. Participate in communications to staff and students via in‑person, email, or phone, and attend meetings. Organize storage and cleaning areas as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Respectful and dignified treatment of employees, parents, and children. Physical Abilities The role is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and light carrying. Work Conditions Use of PC workstation, calculator, phone, and general office equipment. Interface with internal and external contacts as needed. Work performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal safety hazards. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED.
