Senior Manager, Packaging Operations

• Lead packaging operations to achieve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Develop and coach managers, supervisors, and frontline teams to build a high-performing organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, waste reduction, labor productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
• Champion a culture of accountability, employee engagement, food safety, and operational excellence.
• Utilize operational metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and improve business performance.
• Support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and long-term site objectives established by plant leadership.

Work Location: Amarillo, TX (Relocation Assistance available)

This leadership position supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation and requires flexibility to meet business needs, collaborate across shifts, and lead plant initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Science, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience within food, dairy, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading managers and supervisors in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, USDA, and OSHA requirements.
• Demonstrated success driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop talent, build teams, and lead through change.
• Data-driven decision maker with strong financial and operational acumen.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Dairy manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
