Parts Coordinator

Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Parts Coordinator for the Detroit Metro arealocation.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an energetic and strong Parts Coordinator to deliver parts, Shipping & Receiving, and Parts Counter for MTE Technicians in the Detroit area. This position with be the face of the company to the customers which means excellent customer service skills are required.

Requirements

• Provide part to customer from stock, procure locally or create a parts order as directed
• Monitor the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival
• Inventory control maintenance
• Capable of loading and unloading of freight with forklift
• Knowledge and able to ship and accept freight from motor carriers, UPS or FedEx
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Driver must do daily deliveries to customers throughout service area.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
