Mechanical Designer

Description Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or NX. Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications. Qualifications US Citizenship. AS Degree 3 years of relevant experience. (2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associate’s degree.) Familiar with 3D modelling software (Siemens NX. Autocad/Inventor) Experience in manufacturing/installation drawing creation. Machinery/Mechanical Design expereince preferred. Manufacturing Experience. Additional Information 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr based on experience. Benefits offered. 1 step interview process.
