Account Director, Longview Strategies

We’re growing and looking for an Account Director who wants to own the work, not simply manage it. We want someone who leads the way: sees what needs to happen and makes it happen, brings ideas rather than waiting for assignments, and isn't afraid to respectfully challenge the status quo when there’s a better approach.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the day-to-day lead for up to five accounts, developing a deep understanding of each client's business and proactively identifying opportunities to advance their goals.

• Drive the Work: Translate complicated businesses and technical topics into clear, compelling storylines, thought leadership, content, and media opportunities. Write, edit, pitch, brainstorm, troubleshoot, and do what it takes to move things forward.

• Measure and Improve: Track results, report on what matters, and use what we're learning to continually strengthen our approach.

• You're tech and AI-savvy. You use technology to work smarter and are eager to explore new tools that can make great communications work even better.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in strategic communications, ideally in an agency or communications consulting environment with a strong focus on media relations--developing story angles, pitching journalists, and securing results.

• Meaningful B2B communications experience in at least one of our core sectors: cybersecurity, medtech, professional services, or finance. Experience across multiple sectors is a plus.

• Experience independently leading client relationships and communications programs.

• Excellent writing, editing, project management, and interpersonal skills.
