Senior Computational Research Scientist

A company is looking for a Senior Computational Research Scientist. Key Responsibilities: Lead computationally focused scientific research projects with minimal supervision and develop new computational methods Identify, process, organize, interpret, review, and report relevant data Present research findings and draft complex manuscripts as required Required Qualifications, Training, and Education: Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree or PhD preferred 7+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 5+ years with a Master's degree; or 2+ years with a PhD Prior experience in computational research techniques and processes Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role Strong background in computational chemistry and familiarity with scientific computing languages
