Teaching Assistant

Graduate Instructors and TAs Responsibilities Graduate Instructors and TAs are desired to teach clinical, skills labs, and didactic courses in the undergraduate nursing program. They will collaborate with faculty, prepare educational materials, facilitate student learning in clinical, lab, or lecture settings, evaluate students according to course criteria, and perform other responsibilities related to the position. Total Hours Available Positions range from 15% (6 hours per week) to 50% (20 hours per week) or more, depending on the school's needs. Qualifications Must be a graduate student enrolled for coursework at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing or related programs during the academic year. Must be a licensed RN. Due to the University’s status as a land‑grant institution, Minnesota residency is required. Exceptions may be considered and approved on a case‑by‑case basis. H‑1B Sponsorship This job is not eligible for H‑1B sponsorship. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $27 per hour, depending on education, qualifications, and experience. Student workers are eligible to participate in the Student Health Benefit Plan if they maintain six or more eligible course credits within a semester. The same applies for undergraduate students, graduate assistants, residents, fellows, and interns.
