Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, conducting physical exams and meticulously reviewing medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
