Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, incorporating physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations

• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing surgical environments, ensuring correct patient alignment, and efficiently passing instruments
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and comprehensive patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility to practice) as a Physician Assistant
