Key Responsibilities

• Execute thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and extensive medical history reviews
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work in unison with surgeons in devising and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Contribute intraoperatively by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care with tasks such as medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly desirable

Certifications

• Valid and current PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
