Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical assessments alongside comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging tests and lab findings
• Work in close alignment with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment protocols
• Provide comprehensive intraoperative support — prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing the flow of surgical instruments
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
