Accounting Associate

An international firm has opening for an Accounting Associate to support accounting operations in a fast-paced corporate environment in White Plains, NY. This position will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, invoicing, and month-end closing support. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Local candidates are strongly preferred, as the position requires the ability to come into the office as needed. Key Responsibilities Process vendor and material invoices accurately and timely in the ERP system Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions via Concur Support weekly payment runs and cash receipt processing Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reclassifications, and account reconciliations Prepare service fee invoices and support internal financial reporting Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis Maintain accurate vendor and employee master data in ERP and Concur systems Support accounting reporting requests from management and affiliated entities Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred Experience with ERP systems, AP processing, and financial reporting strongly preferred Experience using Concur is a plus Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills in English #J-18808-Ljbffr Alpha Global Search LLC
