Regional Sales Director - Cardiovascular - Northeast

Amgen seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead cardiovascular sales across the Northeast, managing a team of district sales managers and overseeing regional revenue targets. The role requires translating brand strategy into actionable plans while developing talent, maintaining compliance, and building customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Set regional strategic direction aligned with brand strategy and organizational vision
• Lead and manage district sales managers; hold team accountable for achieving sales goals
• Develop staff competencies, conduct performance reviews, and plan succession
• Interface with senior sales management and marketing on business issues and opportunities
• Build and maintain key customer relationships through in-person and virtual engagement; travel to medical facilities required

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 4+ years sales/marketing experience, OR Master's degree with 8+ years, OR Bachelor's degree with 10+ years
• 4+ years direct management experience leading teams or people
• Preferred: 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech product sales with 5+ years sales management
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to lead through change
• Strong coaching, communication, and customer relationship skills
• Experience with compliance standards and business conduct expectations
