Job Summary:
Aiken, South Carolina The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care. This role involves providing patient care over a 12-hour night shift schedule at a healthcare facility. The candidate will be responsible for delivering competent, compassionate, and efficient care to patients, with a focus on telemetry and inpatient nursing responsibilities. The successful candidate must have at least two years of inpatient nursing experience and current licensure.

Job Details:

• Location: Aiken, South Carolina
• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Floor
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current registered nurse license in the state/district, at least 2 years of inpatient nursing experience, 6 months of telemetry experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification, CPR certification, graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, Cerner EMR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly desired.
• Additional Details:
  • Must have the ability to provide age-appropriate patient care.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform initial and ongoing assessments, including admission assessments, in accordance with facility policy.
  • Must comply with all licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements.
  • Note: The candidate must reside at least 100 miles away given the fixed night shift requirement.

• Notes for Candidates:
  • Availability for 3 x 12-hour night shifts.
  • Expectation to float within scope of practice as needed.
  • The candidate should be prepared to discuss housing options; local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.
