Job Description We are looking for a MDS Planning Lead to provide software and application expertise and oversee the implementation of solutions that meet regional business needs and align with global strategy. Responsibilities Oversee planning and execution of software and applications. Manage internal team and partner with external suppliers. Identify and deploy appropriate software and application solutions. Support regional and global software and application strategies. Provide input to financial planning and controls for software and applications at regional and global level. Collaborate with management on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments. Explore opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings. Ensure support service level objectives and KPIs are met. Lead end‑to‑end testing, cutover, and hyper‑care with business and vendor partners. Manage risk analysis and escalation protocols. Act as trusted MDS advisor to regional business leads and support BRD creation. Deliver executive‑level reporting on KPIs, risks, and adoption metrics. Co‑develop change management strategies to ensure user adoption and process readiness. Lead up‑skilling and retention of critical MDS resources in‑region. Support contingency planning and operational continuity. Ensure MDS investments yield measurable business value. Support agile delivery models (e.g., sprint sign‑offs, tech gates). Qualifications Experience managing staff and line responsibilities. Managing large‑scale software and application services. Service delivery, support, and excellence. Program/project management with experience managing multiple projects for budgets, resources, schedules, and quality. General technical background. Understanding of integration and how different applications communicate. Process and service orientation. Business process knowledge. Guiding Principles Clear lines of responsibility—define accountability across global, regional, and market levels. Collaboration & communication—champion seamless communication between business, MDS, and vendor teams. Autonomy & empowerment—empower local and regional teams to make timely, market‑relevant decisions aligned with global standards. Scalability & flexibility—design MDS solutions that scale with growth and adapt to changing needs or disruptions. Shared ownership—foster joint accountability for technology success across stakeholders. Work Schedule Hybrid – three days at the office per week. Salary and Benefits Base salary range: $140,300 to $192,940. Eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with potential for overachievement.
