Automation QA Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12+ months (potentially long term)
Work Hours: EST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay)
Role Purpose
Designs, builds, and maintains automated test suites for mobile applications and APIs, integrating them directly into continuous integration workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale automated mobile regression suites (Appium, Detox, or WebdriverIO) executing on BrowserStack.
- Automate GraphQL API test suites validating schemas, queries, and mutations.
- Link test execution results dynamically from GitLab CI/CD pipelines back into Xray test cases.
- Leverage Amazon Kiro to assist in writing test scripts, mocking data, and debugging script failures.
- Log, track, and re-verify defects systematically within Jira.
Qualifications
3+ years in mobile test automation (React Native app testing experience preferred). Hands-on scripting capability (TypeScript/JavaScript/C#) and experience with BrowserStack and GitLab CI/CD integrations.
