Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive medical history assessments and physical examinations
• Assist in diagnostic processes for surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging results and lab tests
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and execute individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support-prepping surgical environments, ensuring proper patient setups, and skillfully managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound assessments, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice preferred

Certifications Required

• Current, unrestricted PA-C status
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
