Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to devise and implement customized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Offer intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which involves medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for candidates who completed clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
