Mechanical Project EngineerA Tulsa-area fabrication company is seeking a Quoter/Mechanical Project Engineer. This is a single position that may be filled at either the Mechanical Engineer level or Estimator/Quoting level depending on experience and education. This role supports engineering, estimating, and quotation preparation for fabricated products. Candidates must have experience within the fabrication industry and working knowledge of pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, and related components.Mechanical Project Engineer Responsibilities:Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluationsReview customer specifications and project requirementsCheck and review engineering drawingsAssist with preparation of Bills of Material (BOM)Prepare detailed cost estimates and formal price quotationsAnalyze customer needs and translate specifications into accurate pricingCoordinate with vendors and outside service providers for material and service pricingEstimator / Quoting Assistant Responsibilities:Prepare Bills of Material (BOM)Develop detailed cost estimates and price quotesReview customer specifications and project requirementsObtain pricing from material vendors and subcontractorsAssist with documentation and quotation preparationRequirements:Experience in the fabrication industry requiredWorking knowledge of pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, and related componentsAbility to interpret specifications and technical documentsStrong attention to detail and cost accuracyProficiency with Excel and estimating systems preferredMechanical Engineering degree required for Engineer-level considerationThis is a full-time opportunity with long-term potential.
