A pharmacy opportunity is available in a rehabilitation hospital environment in Boston, MA. This contract position offers an engaging role supporting patient care in a specialized rehab setting, ideal for pharmacists eager to apply their skills in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify medications accurately according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care plans.
- Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems for electronic medical records and medication dispensing.
- Support medication reconciliation and patient counseling as needed.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations throughout all activities.
- Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure.
- New graduates with retail pharmacy experience or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Monday to Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
