Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

 Seeking experienced Emergency Medicine APPs (PA or NP) for a locums opportunity in Frankfort, KY. Join a high-functioning ED team in a community hospital setting with strong physician support and steady patient volume.

Position Details:

·Estimated Annual Volume: ~30,000–40,000 patients/year

·Patients Per Hour: ~1.8–2.2

·Shift Lengths: 10–12 hour shifts (days, evenings, nights available)

·Schedule: Flexible locums coverage (weekday/weekend options)

·EMR: Meditech (typical for similar sites)

Clinical Responsibilities:

·Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of varying acuity

·Perform procedures within scope (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, etc.)

·Collaborate with board-certified EM physicians

·Coverage may include fast track and main ED

Requirements:

·Board Certified/Eligible PA or NP (EM experience required)

·Active KY license (or ability to obtain)

·ACLS, PALS required

·ATLS preferred

·Minimum 1–2 years Emergency Medicine experience preferred
