Job Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for properly washing and sanitizing dishware and keeping the dish area clean and organized. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Washes all dishes from the restaurant
• Washes pots and pans from the kitchen
• Restock plate ware for the restaurant and kitchen
• Practice and uphold proper safety and sanitation
• Mop floors
• Clean the dishwashing machine, sinks, drains
• Any other duties assigned by a manager

Skills + Abilities

Included but are not limited to:

• Able to take direction and work together as a team
• Works calmly and executes job duties effectively under pressure
• High safety, sanitation, and food handling standards

Education + Experience + Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
• Food Handler certification required
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
