Overview

We are seeking experienced extrusion machine operators for a metal manufacturing factory in Humble, TX. Successful candidates will have experience in operating extrusion machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment (metal or plastic/polymer extrusion). The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, have experience with extrusion equipment and have an understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery and equipment.
• Set up equipment using technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise operation.
• Perform routine inspections and quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues to maintain optimal production flow.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools; assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality data.
• Follow safety protocols diligently and ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly lines, fabrication tasks, and packaging operations to meet production targets.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and process efficiencies.

Experience :

• Proven factory experience operating extrusion manufacturing machinery in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing and fabrication machinery is a plus.
• Bilingual, English / Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with SAP or production reporting.
• Overhead crane operation experience is a plus.
• Experience with blueprint reading and technical drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and fabrication tools such as tooling setups, dies, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
• Previous warehouse or materials handling experience preferred for efficient inventory management.
