Location: Humble, TX 77396
Pay Rate: $18.00-$19.00 per hour (DOE)
Shifts:

Day Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Night Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM

Alternating weekends and rotating schedule of 32 hours one week and 48 hours the next

Position Summary

The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion equipment used to manufacture copper and alloy products. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to producing high-quality products safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role that is well suited for someone with industrial machinery experience or strong mechanical aptitude who is interested in developing their skills in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently according to production schedules, work instructions, and product specifications.
• Inspect extrusion equipment and auxiliary equipment before starting production.
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to product requirements.
• Monitor operating conditions and critical process parameters throughout production.
• Inspect products to help ensure they meet established quality and dimensional specifications.
• Identify and report equipment problems, process deviations, and quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Record production information, equipment readings, and other required data in SAP or applicable production systems.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain consistent production and product quality.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S practices.
• Work cooperatively with production team members and supervisors to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Work Environment
