Millers Cove RdWalland, TN 37886The Babysitter position is to ensure that all children and guest have a memorable and educational experience while at Blackberry Mountain while staying in a safe environment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Responsible for providing a safe environment for all children, guests and Team Members* Arrive at work promptly at the scheduled time, and wearing the proper uniform* Greet parents and children in a professional manner* Confirm any allergy & medical information, take any special instruction about their child’s needs* Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities* Must be able to use positive behavior-management to maintain order* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of care* Ability to build positive relationships with all guests and Team Members* Must have a valid driver’s license* Be prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently in accordance with all SOP’s**Must comply with all company policies and procedures.****To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.****Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.****SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*** None**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*** High School Diploma or equivalent required* 1-2 year’s experience working with children in a professional setting (nanny, daycare, camps, etc.) preferred* Must hold a CPR and First Aid Certification, or willing to obtain**LANGUAGE SKILLS*** Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills* Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members and managers **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS*** Basic knowledge and understanding of math **REASONING ABILITY*** Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals**PHYSICAL DEMANDS*** Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.* Must be able to sit or stand for a long period of time* Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart* Must be able to tolerate outdoor conditions in all seasons
