Are weekends required? Yes, every other Friday and Saturday. Are block schedules required? No. What are expected ratios? 1:4. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in medical surgical care. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics. Candidates must be willing to float between units based on patient care needs. Traveling nurses may be required to float to other facilities within the region. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. The nurse will manage various medical conditions, including but not limited to renal failure, wound care, and substance withdrawal. The nurse will have the ability to administer medications, manage IVs, and provide patient education. Team collaboration with IV teams, physical therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary support services is expected. This role requires a commitment to working three of the five major holidays. Pre-Approved Time Off requests must be submitted upfront. Failure to comply with the scheduling agreement may lead to contract termination. References covering one year of experience within the last three years will be required. Nurses are expected to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
