Dialysis Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to dialysis patients in an acute and outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality treatment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer dialysis treatments according to protocol and monitor patient responses throughout the procedure.
• Assess patients’ condition before, during, and after dialysis sessions, promptly addressing any complications.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans for dialysis patients.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety regulations during all procedures.
• Float between dialysis locations as needed, providing coverage and support across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Possess at least 1 year of dialysis experience, with acute and outpatient settings preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting and billing modules.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a related field.
• Be able to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and call shifts.
• Comply with travel and background policies, including no more than 10 days of RTO and verification of foreign education if applicable.
