Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical tele unit. Nurses in this role may also float to different units as needed to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical tele unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg Tele.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Active certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Must possess competency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.
