Med/Surg Tele RN - Night & Day Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position, with the potential for extensions based on performance and facility needs.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Travelers may be required to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Med/Surg Tele RNs to provide exceptional patient care at our facility. The selected candidates will work within various units, making a significant impact on patient outcomes while ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and symptoms to ensure optimal health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience as a Med/Surg Tele RN.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday.
