About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in medical/surgical nursing - Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care Description: Provide care to adult inpatients in a medical/surgical setting. Responsibilities include caring for orthopedic, neuro-surgical, and level 1 trauma patients. Priorities include zero-harm initiatives, patient safety, and high-quality care. Enhance the patient experience through effective pain management. Engage in proactive rounding and bedside hand-offs. Work in a 24-bed unit with surveillance and telemetry monitoring. Utilize Masimo technology for patient monitoring. Care for adult inpatients with orthopedic conditions, non-acute strokes, and trauma cases. Participate in a Level I age-friendly facility initiative.
