About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for required. License: Must have a permanent license or compact license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - Must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation. - An acceptable score on both assessments is required. - Nurses must remain compliant with all requirements. Description: The position is for a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. Potential to float to various units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty. A valid Ohio license or compact state license is required before submission. Active required certifications must be in hand at the time of submission. Travelers may be required to complete necessary competency assessments as part of orientation. Candidates cannot have any open background cases or license issues. Nurses must be nicotine-free unless exempted. Travelers will follow guidelines regarding submission and compliance throughout their contract duration.
