About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months in specialty License: Must have a permanent license in the state or a compact state in hand Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Must-Have: - 12 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for - Acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation Description: The position is for a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. This role includes the potential to float to different units. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Nurses must work at least every other holiday. Candidates will undergo ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers may have only one submission at a time within this health system. Background checks of any kind are reviewed, and any traveler with an open case will not be accepted. Nurses are exempt from nicotine free facility requirements. All other travelers must be nicotine-free with required drug screening. Candidates are not allowed to return within one year from their previous end date. Extensions with the client may be allowed for a period of 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break. Annual competency and module requirements apply. Modules are required pre-start and annually. Completion of assessments and compliance is mandatory.
