About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: - Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. - Must work at least every other holiday. - Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a night and day rotating shift. The nurse will have the potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may be variable based on the operational needs of the facility. The nurse must complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continuation. The facility will not accept any traveler with an open background case or any license hits. Travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of starting. Candidates who do not meet the requirements may be considered non-compliant and may be removed from the schedule. Annual competencies are required for nurses returning for another contract in the subsequent calendar year. Modules will be completed pre-start, and the time needed varies by specialty.
