About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour or Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year permanent experience in the specialty License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for Willingness to work at least every other holiday Acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Description: This position involves working with Med/Surg Tele patients. There is potential to float to other units as needed. Travelers may be asked to care for patients on ventilators. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility. References from a manager or supervisor in the specialty are required. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of application. Background checks will be reviewed, and open cases will not be accepted. Candidates must be nicotine-free unless exempt. A recent negative drug screen is required. Additional training may be required for annual competency. Completion of pre-start modules is part of the role.
