About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 12 months permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. Description: This position requires day shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. An active Ohio or compact state nursing license must be in hand at the time of application. Candidates should possess current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS certification must be completed before beginning the role. One reference from a management position in the specialty area within the past 12 months is necessary for qualification. Charges RN references are accepted. ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be conducted during the orientation process. Successful scores on both assessments are required. Travelers will have two attempts to pass these tests; otherwise, contract cancellation will occur. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months prior to starting. Candidates cannot have any open cases on background checks. All other travelers must be nicotine-free. Candidates with prior employments with this organization must wait for one year before reapplying. Candidates will be required to complete annual competency modules if they return for a subsequent year of employment.
