About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 12 months of permanent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience required License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS required prior to start Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for Description: All start date, scheduling information, and shift details need to be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. This information cannot be changed afterward if an offer is presented. All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable and no exceptions will be made. Night shift position, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent MS/Tele experience. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand at the time of submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Charge RN references are accepted. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required. All candidates must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, allowing for medical or religious exemptions only. Candidates must be nicotine-free as specified in facility requirements. Background checks will be reviewed by the facility and open cases may disqualify candidates. Candidates are required to complete all necessary assessments and documentation in a timely manner. Extensions may be available on a case-by-case basis, following the contract guidelines. Nurses must complete the necessary competency requirements if on a continuous contract. Annual education modules may be required prior to and during contract duration.
