Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that prioritize communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Provide guidance and education to patients and families to assist with progress even beyond therapy sessions.

Occasionally apply your skills in inpatient environments by evaluating and delivering speech therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care continuity throughout treatment.

Keep thorough documentation aligned with state, federal, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Engage in continuing education and collaborate with peers to stay at the forefront of your field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatments for all ages, with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Capability to adjust therapy techniques to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong problem-solving abilities and clinical judgment.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and relevant documentation standards.
