Janitor

Overview This entry level unionized role is critical to supporting site operations. Do you have previous industrial maintenance janitorial experience, if so, this could be the perfect role for you! Responsibilities Major responsibilities are to perform various cleaning duties throughout a manufacturing plant. Areas cleaned include restrooms, showers, locker rooms, cafeterias, breakrooms and training rooms. The maintenance janitor operates powered equipment such as a floor scrubber and a forklift to move refuse containers inside and outside of the facility. The role also empties scrap hoppers and dust‑collection systems regularly. Physical requirements include lifting, squatting, reaching, climbing, twisting/turning, pushing/pulling, and walking. Qualifications Candidates must be a US Person, defined as an individual that is a: Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15 High School diploma or GED required. Prior janitorial or cleaner experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Compensation Competitive wage plus a comprehensive benefits package.
