Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential to the daily operations of the farm and involves hands-on work with animals, equipment, and property upkeep. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain farm fencing
- Clean and maintain animal stalls, barns, and work areas
- Feed and water animals according to established schedules
- Groom animals and monitor their general health and well-being
- Spread manure and assist with waste management
- Perform general farm maintenance and upkeep tasks
- Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely
- Report any maintenance issues or animal health concerns promptly
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Comfortable working with animals and in outdoor environments
- Basic knowledge of farm equipment and maintenance tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be 18 or Older
