Our team members are trusted to own their work, bring issues to the surface, and execute against clear priorities every quarter.About the roleThe Community Specialist is the face of Strategic Sanitation Services to our customers. You will own a portfolio of active communities — building relationships, protecting revenue, finding opportunities to expand, and ensuring every client feels known, valued, and supported.This is not a call-center or quote-and-forget role. You will build relationships with property managers and HOA boards, bring in new communities, and grow your portfolio over time — protecting existing revenue while continuously expanding it. You bring the relationship. We bring the systems, the support, and a compensation plan that rewards your results.What you’ll doOwn Your PortfolioServe as the primary point of contact for the book of active communities they buildConduct regular proactive outreach and visits to existing customersIdentify service concerns before they escalate and resolve them quicklyBuild lasting relationships with property managers, HOA boards, and management company contactsGrow RevenuePrepare and present proposals through to closePursue new leads through community events, referrals, data systems, and in-person outreachTrack and manage your pipeline in HubSpot — accurate data is non-negotiableOperate with AccountabilitySet and own quarterly Rocks that reflect your highest-priority goalsReport on your Scorecard metrics every week — know your numbersParticipate actively in Sales and Marketing L10 Meetings, prepared to contributeBring issues to the surface through the right process — not around peopleWhat you bringMust be Respectful, Reliable, and Responsible — this is non-negotiable2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing relationship roleA natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and maintains itSelf-directed and accountable — you manage your portfolio without needing to be managedComfortable presenting proposals and handling objections in personOrganized and detail-oriented; you can manage multiple accounts without dropping the ballProficient in HubSpot or willing to learn quickly; comfortable with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in property management, HOA services, or a service industry is a plusValid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territoryDetails & BenefitsFull-time | Hybrid | Southern CaliforniaCompensation: Base salary of $70,304.40 per year, plus Monthly Book Commission and Quarterly Performance Commission.
