Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, this individual will contribute to the seamless functioning of our facility and the unparalleled patient experience we provide.Key Responsibilities:Meticulous cleaning and sterilization of surgical instrumentationPrecise preparation of surgical assembliesImpeccable organization and replenishment of treatment areasExpert handling and processing of materials, including those managed by external vendorsEfficient receiving, verification, and organization of incoming shipmentsSafe and compliant management of clinic operationsDiligent maintenance of equipmentAccurate record-keeping and documentationCollaborative teamwork and effective communicationPrompt reporting of facility and equipment concernsActive participation in staff meetings and professional development trainingsMentorship and training of fellow team membersDemonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusionOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to work in small groupsHigh school diploma or equivalentBilingual proficiency (Spanish highly desired)Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skillsSelf-directed and capable of independent workKeen attention to detail and unwavering precisionAbility to effectively prioritize and manage workloadUnwavering commitment to reproductive autonomy and patient-centered careNative speakers of Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, French, and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to applyFlexible schedule availabilityEmpathetic and patient-focused demeanorKnowledge of the political landscape surrounding abortion care (preferred)Prior experience in abortion care or reproductive health (strongly preferred)Physical and Work Environment:The position necessitates physical stamina, the ability to maintain an accelerated pace at times, and perform repetitive tasks.Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and cleaning agents is inherent to this role.Extended periods of standing and walking are required.Lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies is essential.Adherence to mandatory vaccination policy is a condition of employment (subject to accommodation).The ability to operate under pressure and manage competing priorities is crucial.Moderate lifting may be required.Please do not call for updates as our amazing staff are busy caring for our patients.
