Location 320 Terminal Drive,Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33315,United States Base Pay $16.50 - $16.50 / Hour Job Category General Labor, janitorial, Facility Maintenance Industry General Labor, Janitorial, Facility Maintenance Employee Type Full Time Required Degree NONE Manage Others No Contact information Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Description Reports To: Facility Site Manager Pay Rate and Benefits: Full time, hourly position with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour Time: Night shift / full-time, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Days: Wednesday through Sunday Health insurance; along with dental and vision options Health spending account ($60 per month contribution if on company health insurance plan) Life insurance is provided at a rate of one time your annual salary 401K match program after 6 months of employment Paid time off Qualifications: Must be able to perform manual labor including sweeping, moving trash bags Must have the ability to stand for long durations of time (multiple hours) without sitting down Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be able to drive a company vehicle and have a valid driver’s license General Laborer experience is preferred, but not required Demonstrate the ability to competently use basic tools, hardware and power tools Demonstrate the ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work projects Ability to work as a contributing team member Ability to exercise independent judgment and ask for help when needed Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with other MVI teammates and rental car employees. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Duties and Key Responsibilities: Assist the management team with a variety of projects based on facility needs including, but not limited to, the following: Responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and organized areas throughout the facility Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and common areas Taking out trash and overseeing trash pick up Assist with preparing the facility for inclement weather, including hurricane and flood prep and clean-up Utility and Transportation Vehicles: gain a working knowledge of MVI utility vehicles and transportation vehicles, perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to the vehicles Cleaning-complete various facility cleaning projects using several different chemicals, products, and tools Painting-clean and prepare different areas of the facility for painting, use different paints and stains to complete projects Replenish soap, paper towels and toilet paper Clean elevators Operate various cleaning equipment Report any maintenance or safety concerns Other projects that may arise not listed – structural, equipment, facility systems, and individual Rental Car Agency space common requests and repairs The statements contained herein reflect the general details as necessary to describe the functions of this position and the level of knowledge and skill typically required, and the general scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive list of the job requirements.
