Vice President Of Quality Assurance & Technical Services

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Vice President of Quality Assurance & Technical Services with expertise in SQF, USDA-FDA, PCQI, Micro Lab, HACCP, and BRC. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of progressive experience in quality assurance and technical services within the food manufacturing industry. This is an onsite position in Louisiana at the Corp. HQ location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all quality assurance and technical services activities.
• Manage a team of Plant QA Managers and QA staff at two plant locations.
• Manage the company R&D team for new product development.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, USDA-FDA, PCQI, Micro Lab, HACCP, and BRC standards and regulations.
• Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality and food safety initiatives across the organization.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, auditors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification in SQF, PCQI, HACCP, and BRC.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing quality assurance and technical services teams.
• Knowledge or management experience of an R&D group.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining quality systems and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
