As the Quality Manager for Premium Products, you will serve as a key leader responsible for maintaining and advancing the Quality Management System (QMS) supporting premium remelted products. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and maintaining the Quality Management System for premium products
- Managing external quality certifications and compliance requirements
- Overseeing internal and external audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Reviewing and approving certified test reports
- Driving customer-focused quality standards throughout the organization
- Managing and mentoring Quality Assurance personnel
- Partnering cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to strengthen quality systems and processes
- Serving as Management Representative for the Premium Products QMS, ensuring compliance, effectiveness, and integrity
- Reporting QMS performance metrics and recommendations to executive leadership
- Supporting a culture centered around safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Traveling domestically and internationally as needed
We're searching for a quality professional who combines technical expertise with leadership presence and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Metallurgy, or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC leadership experience within metals manufacturing
- Strong experience with premium remelted products including VAR and/or ESR processes preferred
- Deep understanding of quality systems, audits, certifications, and corrective action processes
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead teams while building strong working relationships across departments
- Strong work ethic with a continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to travel as required
