Department: 38410 High Point Medical Center - Pharmacy Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pm EST, no weekends, rotating holidays and third shift rotations as needed Pay Range: $54.90 - $82.35 Position Highlights: Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11pm EST, no weekends, rotating holidays and third shift rotations as needed High Point Medical Center How You’ll Impact Patient care: Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses. Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization. Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork. Continuously update and document skills and knowledge. Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations. Set personal goals to support departmental objectives. Provide appropriate age care following guidelines. Foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork. What You Will Need: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required. Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Nice To Have (Not Required): Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Maintains skills in area of practice. Strong computer skills. Excellent communication and organization skills. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and training development skills. Demonstrates decision making, team building, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. Life support training courses may be required dependent on department discretion.
