About Us

Copper Creek Construction is an established general contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction, insurance restoration, and property reconstruction throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Construction Restoration Estimator to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing insurance restoration estimates using Xactimate , a strong understanding of construction methods, and the ability to manage estimates from the initial property inspection through final scope approval.

Position Overview

As a Construction Restoration Estimator, you will assess property damage, develop accurate repair estimates, coordinate with insurance adjusters, and help move projects efficiently into production.

This position requires someone who can work independently, communicate professionally, and balance estimating accuracy with customer service and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Property Inspections & Estimating

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, storm, and other losses.
• Prepare accurate, detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
• Develop comprehensive scopes of work, including measurements, photographs, documentation, and supporting materials.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and repair requirements.
• Identify additional damage, necessary repairs, and potential supplemental estimates.

Insurance & Customer Communication

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Review and negotiate estimates with insurance carriers to obtain appropriate scope and pricing approvals.
• Prepare and submit estimate revisions, supplements, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and communicate estimate status throughout the claims process.
• Explain repair scopes and construction processes clearly to customers.

Project Coordination & Profitability

• Collaborate with, superintendents, and production teams to ensure accurate project handoffs.
• Review estimated labor, material, and subcontractor costs to support project profitability targets.
• Assist in identifying potential change orders, supplements, and unforeseen conditions.
• Support project scheduling and resource planning.
• Maintain organized estimate files and meet established turnaround expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Previous construction restoration estimating experience is required.
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software is required.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods, materials, and repair processes.
• Experience estimating insurance-related property damage, including fire, water, and storm losses.
• Ability to read construction drawings and develop accurate repair scopes.
• Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with computers, estimating software, and project management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an insurance restoration contractor or general contractor.
• Familiarity with insurance carrier estimating guidelines and supplement procedures.
• Experience estimating both residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
• Knowledge of construction cost controls and gross profit management.
• Experience coordinating with field production teams.
• IICRC certifications or other relevant industry credentials are a plus.
