This individual will play a key role in maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about improving processes while supporting operational and financial excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity Perform complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records Assist with inventory accounting and inventory reconciliations Perform financial and variance analysis Prepare sales tax and other recurring regulatory filings Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Identify and implement accounting process improvements Partner with operations and leadership on financial initiatives Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Experience leading month‑end close Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP systems Manufacturing or distribution accounting experience preferred Inventory accounting experience strongly preferred CPA or CPA‑track preferred but not required Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
