Position Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests by cleaning guest rooms and public areas according to Spark by Hilton and Hilton brand standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing exceptional cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an organized work area.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ensure rooms meet Spark by Hilton quality and presentation standards before guests arrive.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guest rooms and hotel property.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members and departments.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach during an 8-hour shift.
