Director, Integrated Access Strategy Lead - Oncology, IMDELLTRA Indication Expansion

What You Will Do In a rapidly evolving payer environment, Amgen requires an increasingly sophisticated reimbursement and pricing capability to support market access strategies. The Global Integrated Access Strategy team, within the Global Value Access function, plans value and access for Amgen molecules from Phase I‑II through commercialization. In a vital role, the Director will serve as the Integrated Access Strategy Lead for a defined subsection of the overall IMDELLTRA Patient Impact Expansion (PIE) and Lung Pipeline, with primary responsibility for indication expansion workstreams. The Director will lead and coordinate cross‑functional efforts, develop situation analysis, create access strategies, identify success factors, develop pricing guidance, maintain price policy, and collaborate with program leadership and partners to reflect payer value drivers in clinical development planning, evidence generation, lifecycle planning, and value demonstration activities. The Director will work collaboratively across functions to ensure a comprehensive view and maintain relationships with stakeholders in marketing, development, HEOR, regulatory, operations, advocacy, government affairs, medical, finance, and key markets and regional Value & Access colleagues worldwide. Additional responsibilities include supporting projects across the broader IMDELLTRA program such as market or product assessments, access policy readiness, evidence and value story development, launch sequencing, pricing strategy, and lifecycle planning. What We Expect of You We are looking for a strategic leader with a unique set of skills to serve patients and drive market access. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree and 4 years of market access and/or payer experience Master's degree and 8 years of market access and/or payer experience Bachelor's degree and 9 years of market access and/or payer experience Preferred Qualifications Experience working in oncology, preferably with launch, lifecycle, or indication‑expansion strategy Experience supporting global market access strategy for oncology assets, including evidence generation, payer value story development, and access launch readiness International launch or indication‑expansion experience Strong understanding of the payer environment in the US and major ex‑US countries, including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, health technology assessment, and healthcare policy Ability to conduct situation analysis of the external pricing and reimbursement environment, synthesize relevant information, develop strategic plans, and formulate price‑policy recommendations Ability to develop and test value messages and value evidence with payers to determine the most compelling way to demonstrate product value Ability to translate complex clinical, pricing, reimbursement, and market‑access analyses into clear implications for business decisions Ability to manage in a highly fluid, interactive, matrixed environment and build strong business partnerships with affiliate, regional, and global colleagues Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically, identify options and trade‑offs, and bring structure to vaguely defined problems Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills What You Can Expect of Us The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. excluding Puerto Rico is posted.
