You're an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you'll monitor the production process of multiple. Operate, shut-down, and start-up the production equipment. Assist with changeovers and troubleshoot machines as necessary to meet quality requirements. Work to reduce scrap and increase machine output with enhanced technical training and development section operators.

As part of the team you'll be responsible for

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.
• Ensure proper production rates and part quality with minimal scrap.
• Pull samples for QA testing as requested.
• Adjust process parameters on equipment as necessary to correct quality concerns.
• Ability to operate all production equipment.
• Ability to efficiently start and shut down lines.
• Work with support department on diagnosing and fixing the equipment.
• Complete all aspects of line changeover.
• Maintain your section in a clean orderly fashion.
• Monitor the production schedule for special instructions.
• Required to fill out daily checklist, first piece inspection, and WebEFF paperwork.
• Complete assigned tasks as required by management.
• Provides "hands on" process and equipment support.
• Develop plant process improvement programs that improve consistency and control of current manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for process improvement efforts aimed at reducing gross and net scrap.
• Provides "hands on" process and equipment support.
• Provide technical training for operating personnel, including training on resins, extrusion, winding etc.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of plastics setup experience, robots, manufacturing software and processing systems experience required
• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
• Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully.
